Abbey Farm, Rhyl

Introduction

Abbey Farm is a well-known agricultural business that is committed to sustainability and reducing their carbon footprint. To achieve this goal, they partnered with JM Renewables to install a 25kW solar energy system. The project was a success and demonstrated our commitment to providing innovative and sustainable solutions for our customer.

Methodology

The solar system was installed using 66 x Trina Solar panels, each with an output of 375W. Trina Solar is a well-established brand in the industry and is known for producing high-quality and efficient solar panels. In addition, a Solis 25kW inverter was installed to ensure the efficient conversion of DC power directly from the panels to usable AC power.

Approvals and Installation

Installing a solar panel system of this size requires a DNO application, which our team successfully obtained. The installation process was completed in 2 days and involved the installation of the solar panels and the electrical work required to connect the system to the grid.

Outcome

The solar panel system is expected to save Abbey Farm approximately £7,700 on their annual electricity bills. In addition to reducing energy costs, the solar energy system also helps Abbey Farm contribute to a more sustainable future by reducing their carbon footprint. The successful installation of the 25kW solar energy system demonstrates our commitment to providing innovative and sustainable solutions for our customers.
