Solar panels have been successfully installed at HMP Kirkham, a Category D men’s prison in Lancashire. The installation comprises 425 PEIMAR Italian panels, each with a capacity of 400 watts, along with 110 kW and 50 kW Solis inverters, resulting in a cumulative capacity of 175 kW. This initiative is expected to yield approximately 128,792 kWh of electricity annually, providing the facility with a sustainable and cost-effective source of power.
