11.2kW Air Source Heat Pump Installation, Anglesey

Introduction

JM Renewable Solutions recently installed an 11.2kW Mitsubishi air source heat pump with a 250L cylinder in a new build property located on Anglesey. The objective was to provide efficient and sustainable heating and hot water solutions for the occupants while reducing their reliance on traditional fossil fuel-based systems. The chosen heat pump system is expected to offer significant energy savings and environmental benefits.

Methodology

To ensure the successful installation and operation of the system, we conducted a detailed assessment of the customer’s property. This included analysing their heating and hot water requirements, considering factors such as insulation, size and usage. This detailed assessment helped us select an appropriate heat pump model and cylinder capacity.

The Mitsubishi ASHP was strategically positioned to maximise efficiency and minimise noise. The cylinder was integrated into the property’s heating system, ensuring seamless operation and compatibility with the heat pump. The installation also involved connecting the heat pump to the property’s electrical supply and configuring the system control unit for optimal performance.

Installation & Outcome

The installation of the 11.2kW Mitsubishi air source heat pump with a 250L cylinder was completed successfully, meeting the required standards and specifications. The heat pump system proved to be an excellent choice for the property, providing efficient heating and hot water solutions. As a result, the customer is expected to experience reliable and consistent performance throughout the year.

One of the key outcomes of the project was the significant reduction in energy consumption and associated costs. The air source heat pump’s high energy efficiency helped lower the property’s reliance on traditional fossil fuel-based heating systems, resulting in substantial energy savings. Additionally, the heat pump’s environmentally friendly operation contributed to a reduced carbon footprint, aligning with the growing emphasis on sustainable living.
